How do you teach small children to carefully wash their hands?

With a nursery rhyme of course!

With the help of their book buddy Ian, toddlers can learn the different steps to make sure their hands are truly clean.

Look at each card with the children. Let them talk about what they can see and what they already know about washing their hands.

You can decide which steps you think are necessary, because children may not need to wash all their fingers every single time. Then you can just leave those cards out.
